 Our History

As a local gathering of God’s people, this church began in August 1973 when a group of 17 people began meeting together in the home of Don and June McMurray.

Since the day we were formed we've always striven to be a community of people who take God's words to heart. There has been much joy along with struggle, amidst the ups and downs of church family life. But being followers of Jesus and seeking to make him known has been, and continues to be, what we're about.

 Our Mission Partners

We want all the world to have eternal life in knowing Christ as their Lord and Saviour (Matthew 28:16-20).

We partner with other believers who share the good news of Jesus locally in Newcastle, in rural NSW, and overseas in PNG and Myanmar.
